VENT-AXIA Trains A New Generation For Success

Continuing its commitment to industry development, Vent-Axia, the leader in low carbon solutions for the HEVAC market, has recently become a BPEC (British Plumbing Employers Council (Training) Ltd) approved training centre.

The BPEC course offered by Vent-Axia at its Crawley Head Office is designed to meet the requirements outlined in the Domestic Ventilation Compliance Guide 2010 for the installation, inspection, testing, commissioning and provision of information for fixed domestic systems for both new and existing residential buildings.

Derek Gow, Group Sales Director comments “with this new course, we are committed to ensuring high efficiency ventilation, especially heat recovery systems, play an important role in delivering low carbon buildings. Improving the skills set within the industry is as vital as providing low carbon products. We are committed to improving and investing in this area.”

The course will be run at Vent-Axia’s head office in Crawley, West Sussex, over two days. The first day will consist of theoretical work, running through the BPEC training manual with the course trainer. The second day will be practical exercises including commissioning a working MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery) system. At the end of the course, there is an open book, multiple choice assessment which each individual candidate needs to pass. The course is recognised by all competent persons schemes.

Lee Nurse, Marketing Director, Vent-Axia comments “The opening of our BPEC approved centre allows us to increase the scope of education that we provide. This will help create a skilled workforce to benefit both our company and the wider industry.”
